Christy woke up this morning shaking and had difficulty with talking. She's had two doses of her medicine today, but it's not any better. I called the pharmacist, and he said her medicine baclofen is a muscle relaxant, whereas the lorazepam is both anti anxiety as well as muscle relaxant.
So, we are skipping her dinner dose tonight and she will be starting back on her Lorazepam tomorrow morning.
Kathy is here working her little but off. She has gone through Christy's kitchen organizing. Last weekend when she was here she worked on Catherine's and Jacobs room. She has labeled almost everything in sight. when you walk in a room you know exactly where everything is. Her and Sherrill have gone off to Walmart. I don't expect them back for hours.
Kenny, Luke, and Eli are downstairs playing. They are really doing good about playing together, except every now and then I think they gang up on poor Luke and leave him out.
Christy is back in bed When she is lying down, she doesn't jerk as much. This disease sure is a strange one.

Why did she have to change med to begin with, if the other was working?

Christy, we are thinking about you and praying for a quick recovery.
She had to change meds because the original one is addictive. She can only stay on it for short periods of time. They have to find one that will stop the tremors, will not knock her out, or is not addictive.
