So, what is it?

A coyote of course. 

A man in the neighborhood told Sherrill he has seen a coyote twice in the neighborhood.

Guess he is coming in from out of the woods. Now Sherrill is afraid he might get Jack.

So, I just walk around the house singing "What does the Fox say"......except of course including the coyote.

Cake Push Up Pops

Mandy carried the kids........I stayed home!
Then we made cake pop things in like a push up popsicle stick. Pictures will follow.

One true media

Remember this site...... one true media.com?
That's where I make all my videos for the blog. Well, not for too much longer.
As of May 31, 2014, the videos will be there no more! They all have to be moved from the site, or they will be lost FOREVER.
So, today I had to pay the $3.99 per month subscription fee to even ALLOW me to download my own videos. The only way to do it before now was to pay the $29.99 to purchase the video. I only purchased  one during all the years I have been using the site.
A word to the wise...... don't wait to the last minute. I have about 25 videos on the site, and it takes about 15 to 17 minutes PER VIDEO to download it. The download is real fast, just the click of a button, but the "preparing to download" is what takes so long. Thus far this morning Meghan and I have downloaded Luke, Jacob, Isabella, Lauren, Kenneth, Debbie, Cameron, Tristen, and we are still waiting for Nate. I am downloading in the opposite order of which they were made. Newest ones are on the top.
It's taken about 4 hours so far, and we are only one third of the way there! As the 31st approaches, I know the site will be even busier. Please go and claim your valuables. Pictures and videos are PRICELESS!

Grandma…….What are we going to do NOW?

Yep, I know those words are coming!

Meg and Seth are coming for 10 days, and I know some of the first words out of their mouths will be…..what are we going to do now. That's OK….I am PREPARED!

I went to Michaels and purchased a Rainbow Loom. I had already ordered the rubber bands online!

I come home and decide I would try this baby out before the kids get here. Good idea!

Following the directions in the box was a little confusing. But hey, You tube can teach you anything!

I watch the beginning video, and after watching some parts 3 times, I finally got that little baby made.

So, I have one pattern completed, now I have about a hundred more to go.

Next project……will be the beads and bottle tops! No instructions needed for that one.

Nate, your brain would be good for this. Eli has it figured out.

Grand Kids Weighing in

Three of the grandkids went to the doctor this week.

Jacob            age 4      weighed in at     37  pounds

Catherine      age 6      weighed in at     37  pounds

Isaac             age 7      weighed in at     39  pounds

That's OK for now. Isaac has learned how to eat French fries, and drink Capri Sun if someone squeezes

the container to send the fluid through the straw. He can't "suck it up" himself yet. He's working on it though!

Kat got the kids out of the house yesterday to take pictures. Kurt and Christy were working, the kids were playing, and Kat was snapping pictures. Lots of pictures. I think there were 283 of them. This is just a small sample!

Eli, Isaac and Jacob

Kat and Christy left Eli home to babysit Isaac and Jacob. Eli calls a little while later, complaining that Jacob took the controller from him, and won't let him play the game Kat had just bought for him.

Isaac was doing fine, off playing with his mom's phone. I told Eli to just go lay down, read a book, and tell the kids they could watch themselves. He realized he couldn't do that, and said that babysitting wasn't too bad.

Later on I get a call from Jacob. He wants to talk to someone that has a lot of money. When he was at Kat's house at Christmas he saw all of Eli's Thomas the train stuff. They gave him some to take home, now he LOVES Thomas the Train. He called me to ask me to go through my toy box to see if I have any. This is what I found.

It's a Thomas rock quarry, along with two trains, and some other train that plays Christmas music.

I'm sending them on his way. I'm sure there are other trains in the toy box, I'm just waiting for Meghan to dig through all the toys.

If anyone has extra Thomas toys, I'm sure Jacob would LOVE them!
