Informed Delivery
Have you heard of Informed Delivery with the USPS?
I signed up, and get an email every day showing me what mail items are coming in that days mail.
Looks like so far I have 4 bills for Sherrill, and I have two. If a package was coming, it would be photographed too!
We have had such problems with our mailman, and not receiving mail, I decided to give this a try.
So far, so good.
If you do not receive your mail in a timely manner, you might want to give this a try!

Happy Birthday "Fat Boy"
Today the "Old Man" turns 66. Whew, it's been hard keeping him alive until his full retirement age!
Now, if I can just get him to work part time, and vacation full time...... a woman's dream.
Due to the hurricane, he didn't get a present, but I did get him a cake. I paid for it, and sent him to pick it up.....he was going to town, I was still in my gown.
I promised to get him another yard decoration. Now, I just have to find one.

Florence Update
Oh what a week it has been.
Thursday: Sherrill loaded up Phyllis's furniture into a moving van. She moved back in with us.
FRIDAY: Florence came for a visit.
SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY misery Loves company.......NOT!
We survived Florence pretty good. The flood rose to Phyllis's old house across the street, but did not cross the road to the Croom Drive house. During the week Sherrill learned how to cook on the flat grill outside, even cooking pancakes and sausage for the neighbors.
We learned simple things, like how many appliances, lights radios, etc that you can plug into a generator before everything stops.
We learned how bored life is without TV and internet. Cell phone service was also sporadic. I was able to clean out my office and file piles of papers and genealogy with some help from Phyllis.
I learned I HATE cooking three meals a day for visitors. Sherrill and Phyllis however were happy.
Please let regular life resume!
