One morning I was sitting at the kitchen table feeding Jacob. He was just laughing and cooing.Luke looked real serious and said, "Grandma, Jacob is the only person in our family that smiles."
This caught me by surprise, and I replied, "No Luke, don't you smile?" He proceeded to tell me that he DOES NOT smile because someone at school had told him he had fat cheeks. I told him he did NOT have fat cheeks, and I wanted to see a smile.....with teeth showing. Now, Luke can be a little shy at times, but with alot of coaxing I finally would just say, "Smile Luke", and he would flash those pearly whites. So, if any of you talk to Luke on the phone, remind him to SMILE!
Oh, he graduates from preschool Thursday night.
