Hey....guess what......Mandy's home. She was supposed to fly in Wednesday, but she drove here instead ! ! ! I guess she arrived sometime after 11:00 am. That Seth sure has grown. And Meghan looks JUST LIKE MANDY when she was that age.

I'm so glad she is here. Sherrill already has a list of things for her to do!

New Family Member

Please meet the newest member of our family.....Aurora. She is often referred to as Bernina 440.
She is just BEAUTIFUL. We went and picked her up yesterday. She can do just about everything. I am so excited.

After we picked her up we went to Golden Corral and Sherrill finally got his turkey, dressing, and the works. He ate three plates of food! Last night he kept repeating, "I shouldn't have eaten so much"! Oh well, he was happy.

Clean up...Clean up

Whew........I finally got that kitchen cleaned up. Sherrill is still upset about no turkey. He said for Christmas HE will BUY the turkey and COOK the turkey. I guess he wants to teach me a lesson! Go for it Sherrill. Can you do the trimmings too?

I spent the day sewing and Sherrill spent the day getting up leaves and fixing his Christmas decorations. All is quiet now.

But wait, you just might be getting a call from your dad. I refuse to cook a turkey this year for Thanksgiving. James gave us two of them, but I just don't want TURKEY. Give me a good pig any day! Sherrill is protesting, and really thinks he WILL have a turkey breast for tomorrow.

He will be in for quite a surprise.

I want everyone to know I am really thankful for each one of you, and all of the grand kids. I am glad that you are grown up, independent, and are self supporting....or at least have husbands that support you. I am thankful that I am able to be a lady of leisure in my old age and that I have a hubby that had rather work than stay in the house with me all day!

Have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow, and give those kids a kiss for me.....even Kelli and Chris!

Kenneth and the Pretzel bag

Ok I know some of you have heard this story but not all of you. Ok here it goes. This week Kenneth's topic for show and tell was to tell about you favorite healthy snack and bring some to share. Well on Tuesday I give Kenneth a big bag of pretzels and told him don't forget to share with the class, and I tell him why. Well he comes home from school

Mom: Kenneth how was school?
Ken: Fine
Mom: How was show and tell?
Ken: Fine
Mom: Did you share the pretzels?
Ken: No
Mom: Why not?
Ken: Because I ate them
Mom: The whole bag?
Ken: Yeah
Mom: Are you telling me you ate the whole bag of pretzels and did not share them
with the rest of the class

Mom: Why didn't you share the bag?
Ken: I thought it was my snack
Mom: Are you kidding me
Ken: No

Can you belive that little stinker. Yes he ate the big bag of pretzels all by himself and he still had room for lunch. That has been my week. But tonight is New Moon and I am going out with my neighbor. Kurt gets all for Kids

Seth has done is again....

YAY!!! Seth made the A/B honor roll again :) He brought home his report card today for the first part of the year. They get three report cards a year. He brought home a few bad grades but I can't ground him with his report card being so good.

Meghan has been running around the house saying she wants to go to grandma's house and make cookies. So mom, she's going to pack her apron and she'll be all set.

Both kids are doing good and looking forward to our trip to NC.

Isaac is HOME

Kat sent a box to Lauren and Carter with "Sale" Halloween items. Carter is quite the handsome "Chicken Man", and you can see what the angel my little "Princess" is.

I am downloading all the pictures from my computer to my external hard drive, so there's no telling what pics you might see on here next!

Baby Jacob

So, I have a new grandbaby.....so they tell me. I'm really not sure. EVERYONE knows how I am about pictures. By the time a child is a month old, I should have at least one photo album filled with pictures. With Baby Jacob I think I have 4 count them....FOUR pictures. What is wrong with this? I was lucky to even get this picture. Christy took the picture with her cell phone and sent it to Mandy. Mandy forwarded it to my email. Now, it if you have ever tried to print out pics from a cell phone you will know that they turn out horrible because there are not enough pixels. I am going to have 4 pictures of my new baby, that will probably be terrible. Would SOMEBODY please teach Christy how to download pictures!

Getting ready for Christmas

So, it's time to clear out all the Halloween and fall decorations and get ready for the Christmas spirit. Christa came over Saturday to help put everything away and pull out more. She brought along her little sister Miley......who just happens to be in nursery with Carter. The three little ones played, and worked. You know how Sherrill is with the Christmas tree.....and all the profanity. This year he did good, not uttering a word because Christa was here. Two of the trees are up, now just need decorating. Any volunteers?

I'm still a little sick, so that will have to wait. In the meantime.....be on the lookout for Christmas presents for your kids. Sherrill will be mailing out checks soon. It won't be alot, but it will be SOMETHING!

mom update...

As you all can see, mom did a post today. Kathy, Christy and James, I hope you three called granddaddy like I said. I call his work and sing to the answering machine every year. He thinks it's the funniest thing. And he was so happy today when he got the message again. They are getting lots of rain and flooding today so he stayed home.

Mom still sounds pretty bad but she's trying her best to get better. She's gotta take Rudy to the VA hospital on Monday. But knowing mom, she'll still take him no matter how sick she feels.

Let's see, the next birthday is Kennys. It's the 20th. (next Friday) I'm sure Christy will call and remind everyone the day before :) Make sure you call him after school and wish him happy birthday.

Mom's sick

hello everyone. If you haven't heard already, mom is really sick. If you call the house, you will end up talking to dad!! BEWARE!!!! :) I'll post once I talk to her and she sounds find. Until then, please just try to limit the calls to the house. She needs all the sleep she can get. Besides, my crew will be there in three weeks!! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY

my test scores

so i know how grandma gets about reporting in for tests so i am reporting in! better start listening other little cousins because Christmas is coming up and if we dont start posting our grades on here like grandma says then hey, that means no presents for you guys!! haha. which is pretty unforutante for yall because i am the oldest one and besides chris, the only one who probably knows how to sign onto this thing and post stuff!! haha! yay me! its the advantage of being the oldest little cousins!! but dont worry guys, youll catch up...SOMEDAY!. haha. well anyways i got a 82 on my MacBeth/Shakespear crap that i didnt even understand! so that was pretty exciting! then i got a 93 on my Alegbra II test on numberical functions and binomial function inequalities

So, I finally downloaded some pictures from my camera. There are lots and lots of pictures. I thought that the sisters might like to see what their little brother looks like now.

Cameron and Olivia are always good subjects for a picture. That is of course if you can get Cameron to look at the camera. Olivia is quite a ham though. She will smile at anything!

hello everyone

Hello. We have been a little busy this week. Meghan and Seth had a birthday and we also took Chris and Eli to Disneyland with us. Not to mention my inlaws have been here and we are getting ready for the SEMA show. Gosh, I need another vacation. Good thing I'm going home in a few weeks!! YEAH

Where's the Candy ?

Well, now that Halloween is over.....where's the candy? Is it all gone yet?

We had quite an enjoyable evening last nignt. The young girl Christa that helps me out brought her entire family over. Her mom stayed home with me to pass out candy and Sherrill and her step dad carried the 5 kids out trick or treating. The little 3 year old got hot and at one of the houses asked if she could have something to drink. SO, the neighbor pulled out some orange juice. When they all got back here they came in for a snack and playtime.

It was nice celebrating a holiday with kids......even if they didn't belong to me! I think I'll adopt the whole family!
