"Oh no.......tomorrow"

Last night we were sitting around watching tv, and just "chillin". Then I remembered the maid is coming on Friday. I told Sherrill, "Carmen is coming tomorrow". "Oh no, tomorrow?" he replied.
I told him yes tomorrow. He told me now he had to go clean off his night stand and get up his rug.
He has a special rug that he doesn't want her to vacuum. The night stand is where he empties his pockets every night!

Christy is always teasing me for "cleaning up" before Carmen comes. I just do some of the easy stuff, that leaves more time for her to do the "hard stuff".

One of my DNA matches sent me this the other day. It is a photo of William "Bill" Furtick"
(1818-1850). He must be like a gr gr gr Uncle.

Kat, remember Mr Leo Goodwin, the old man that lived out in the woods behind his daughter's house off of Hwy 1 in Lexington? His grandma was a Furtick. Well, she's your gr gr gr gr grandma to!
He must be related to her......I just haven't tracked him down yet.

Sherrill Update

Your dad is doing good. We still don't have his medication problem sorted out yet. Another problem for another day.

He is working in Elizabeth City (yesterday and today). Yep, I am here and he is there. That's life!

When he comes in the house and sits down, he is asleep in just a matter of minutes. His body seems
to be tired, but he keeps on trucking.

He goes out walking and keeps up with his heart rate. The other day he was gone for 45 minutes. and was out of the "Stay where I can see you" area. I called him to figure out if he was dead somewhere, but no, he was just out talking to some neighbors behind us. I saw him walk up the driveway, then he disappeared.  10 minutes later I drag out of my chair, only to discover he was outside talking on the phone.

What part of "Stay where I can see you" does he not understand???? He can walk all the way down the block to the main road, then back to the house, and on to the next street, then cross over and walk to the end of the culdesac, then back again. Then I can see him in clear view.  It's going to be a pain keeping up with him! ! !
