404 Croom Drive

Let the fun begin..........

This is "Google's" picture of 404 Croom Drive. This must be really old, because of the garbage can out front. The present tenants have NEVER had garbage pickup. And, look how small the crepe myrtle's are.

Yesterday the contractors tore out the hall and the 1st bathroom. They went home leaving the ground exposed. Sherrill did go and cover up everything.

This morning the plumbers came and rerouted the washing machine pipes to the laundry room, where it should have been in the first place. The contractors are back this afternoon putting in new joists under the house, and putting down new subfloors. New flooring won't go in until the present tenants leave.

Yep, they are leaving. I asked them to be out by the end of the month. They are not too happy about the whole situation. The first of the month starts the work on ceilings and walls. Oh what an adventure.

I need an interior decorator for this project. Any volunteers?

Sherrill is over there now working on the landscaping. I don't think the yard has been raked in 7 or 8 years. Every time I turn around Sherrill has slipped across the street to visit Fred. Both of those old men LOVE to talk!

Maybe we will have everything completed by Thanksgiving, then we can put her on the market!
