What a Day..........

Do I have your attention?
Yes, today we went to the Collard Festival in Ayden. (This photo from their facebook page)
We had lunch at Bum's BBQ

They had the best sweet potato muffins. After our journey for the day we stopped back by and picked up 6 for the trip home!
   Next we were off to Washington, NC.

The waterfront was beautiful. It felt like you could walk for miles!

Sherrill is out there talking to the guy that just caught a BIG bass. He was just reeling them in.
We went from downtown Washington to Washington Park.

On our way back from looking at a house on Lauren Street, we passed Isabella Avenue. The water is straight down there 1 block. There were lots of beautiful houses in a very peaceful neighborhood.

   Then on the way home we stopped and bought this...........

   An old trunk just ready to be refinished! Sorry about the poor picture quality. It was taken in the dark.

Whew! What a day this has been!
