Me and Sherrill went to town this afternoon to do some running around. It was mid afternoon, so I decided we would "hit up" Western Sizzlin and their "old folks menu". My steak, baked potato and toast, plus dessert was a mere $2.99. Sherrill splurged and got beef tips for a whopping $4.39, dessert too! We opted for water, which saved us $4.00. Out total bill was under eight dollars. He informed me that was my Valentines present!
As we were sitting there looking around at all the old folks, Sherrill said it had been over 20 years since we had been there last. I have to remember that you have to be there before 4 pm to get the special. I think I might be going back.
