Hi Everyone! It's been a while since we have updated this website and we want to let you all know what is going on with Mom. The medical treatment that Mom received in Panama was extremely successful. Her entire body was healed, her liver regenerated, and even her eyesight improved. Even her gray hair went away! :) She spent time resting and allowing her body to heal so that the treatment could be as effective as possible. We know that the treatment saved her life. The treatment was only supposed to last for six months. It has now been over eight months since we returned from Panama, and she has regressed. All of her old symptoms have returned. Even though she is dealing with the pain and sickness that she has had for all of these years, her body is in a better condition than it was before we went to Panama. The doctors have discovered that the reason she is sick again is that there is a virus, XMRV, in her body. We thought the anti-viral medicines that she was taking would kill the virus, but they are not strong enough. Last week, researchers discovered that XMRV is almost identical to HIV, but is more deadly. However, her doctors are working towards two possible medications to kill the XMRV virus. These medicines have already been proven to kill the HIV virus. They have had proven success in killing both HIV and XMRV with several people on different continents including Europe and America. Mom has been closely following every new development and has been working with multiple doctors to obtain this medicine. However, there are currently several road blocks that are preventing her from getting this medicine. Mom experienced life as a "well person" for several months and is now frustrated because she has regressed. She is sleeping 18-20 hours a day and is very ill when she is awake. Daily tasks such as cooking or driving are once again nearly impossible. We would like for you to join us in praying that these doctors will allow her to purchase this medicine soon so that her body will be healed completely. Thanks for your continued support.
