As you know the storm is headed Grandaddy Joe's way. He already has lots of wind and rain. He went out twice today to get up what pecans have fallen to keep them away from the squirrels.
He thought he had the squirrels under control, that was until some of his stray cats were captured and impounded. Now the squirrels have returned with a vengeance.
Mom said he was out there this afternoon in his raincoat and boots picking up more of his pecans that had been blown from the trees. Man VS Squirrel. It seems like the squirrel always wins!
