Party at Grandma's

Two three year olds PLUS one four year old EQUALS Fun....Fun....Fun......, but not alot of sleep.

Lauren, Carter,and Olivia were in for a wild night of partying. It all started out with plenty of food and drink. They ate and drank themselves silly. You all know what a combination of sprite and lemonade can do......added to that the milk cup just before bedtime. Added to that were the cookies, chips, candy and EVERYONE was in sugar overload!

We put the sleeping bags out about 8:30 to just sit back and watch TV. I had to fix the couch for myself, Sherrill said he just HAD to have a good night's rest. We watched TV, talked, laughed, told stories, and partied to we fell out. Olivia was the first to go. She passed out while playing the game "Who can be the Quietest". You all know Lauren NEVER won this game. Carter followed shorty behind her. Lauren hung in there as long as she could before she passed out too. Everyone was quiet as a mouse during the night. They had really put in a hard day of play.

Papa gets up and wakes up the whole house of course. Jack runs to the living room, and Carter will tell you, "Grandma, Jack was going to pee on my sleeping bag". Sherrill quickly rebuts that comment, saying that Jack got no where near Carter. Jack knows that he is NOT supposed to be walking to the living room in the first place. He is trained to walk straight from Sherrill's room to the kitchen!

After bacon, eggs, pancakes, and Apple Jacks for breakfast.....they are off to Walmart to get PAPA a birthday cake. Yes folks, there will be MORE partying today! But Carter insists, NO ice cream.

I guess the next post will be....Three kids and the old man. I know they will keep him on his toes at Walmart! I can hear it over the intercom now..."Will Papa please report to the toy department....with his wallet".

Hope all of you have a good day. As for me, I'm going back to my room for some quiet time until they get home!
