Boy has this child grown!

Now for the story of the week,

Dad called a couple of days ago to tell me he had a new grandchild. I asked him if one of his cats had new kittens, and he said "No", your mom will tell you about it. Mom informs me that the new family that moved in across the street have two children. The little boy likes to come over and ride dad's lawnmower. He was sitting at the table eating watermelon, and asked his dad if mom could be his Grandma. His dad told him sure, then he asked if he could trade his go-cart for Mr Joe's lawnmower.

His dad told him "NO". Dad asked him if he was sure he wanted to trade, and he said yes! He was ready to give up that go-cart. As the little boy was leaving he whispered to mom," I need to tell you something. Mr Joe got his lawnmower stuck in the garden, then he got another lawnmower to pull it out, and he got that one stuck too!" Mom assured him that it would be OK that he could get them out.

I guess the little boy just wanted to make sure dad wasn't going to be in trouble! ! !
