Turkey project

Kathy requested turkey bags for Isaac's class, so this is what I am working on. I don't know if it will work. I took a place mat and took a picture of it, shrunk it down, and cut it into pieces.

Took the pattern and some felt, and this is what I came up with. The felt turkey is about 5-6 inches.

Then I realized it is too big to glue onto a paper bag. So, now I am thinking about gluing the turkey to felt, then perhaps sewing it onto a cloth bag. I don't know if that will work though.

I discovered I won;t be able to use orange as a background unless I change out my orange feather. Any suggestions?
