Ding Dong

Lauren and Carter came over this afternoon. Lauren was sitting with me coloring, and Carter was outside playing kickball/soccer with Sherrill. They both ended up in the house for something to drink. I was still coloring, and I heard a faint "Ding, dong.......Ding dong". It sounded like Carter. I asked Sherrill where Carter was, and he said in the kitchen. I asked where Lauren was, and still the answer was in the kitchen.
I'm thinking, "I haven't seen Izzy all day". I get up, go to the door and there she is, still saying "Ding dong.... Ding, dong". I asked her, "Girl, why didn't you ring that door bell". She just looked at me. Then I realized, perhaps she didn't know what the door bell was. So, I had her push the button about 10 times.
Then she realized.......Ding, dong!

Didn't this same thing just happen to Meghan a few months ago?

Luke

Well Luke's 1st grade teacher is Mrs. Hunter. He will get to meet her soon, and he get's to write her letter's till the end of school. But the best part of all is Luke and Jenna (his girlfriend) are in the same class. Way to go Luke. Still waiting on Kenny's new teacher.

How many days of school left?

How many days of school does your child have left?

Be sure to check their book bags, turn in homework and projects, and for you Sto, please hurry and do all the extra credit work you can.  Look under beds and find all those missing library and school books.
Be on the lookout for all the mounds of papers they will be bringing home when they clean out their desks.
Make sure there are no insects growing in their backpacks and lunch boxes.

The last day of school will be here soon, and I think it is going to be a long HOT summer!  Enjoy!

Yoga

I'm sitting here watching "The Talk" on TV. Julie Chen just said that doing one yoga pose for 15 minutes would be just as relaxing as getting 4 hours of sleep.
You go go the wall, get on the floor, lie on your back with your butt touching the wall with your legs against the wall, feet up in the air. Would some of you try this to see if it works before I give it a try. Once I start breathing in the dust from the carpet, I'm afraid I won't be able to get up :) And oh yeah, I must remember to go pee before I give it a try. Perhaps I'll try it first in the bed, with my butt against the headboard. That should be more relaxing!

whats up with the Blegen's

hey everyone just wanted to tell you what we have been up to! I have been studying a lot for my test this week and then i have been getting ready for my birthday and what i want to do for it. Nate has been doing a project for the last 3 weeks. Mom has been working around the house and at work. Dad has been working a lot for 3 weeks now. I got to open two gifts early this week and I got some earrings from Nate and an ipod touch from mom and dad. I am so ready for school to be out we only have ten days left I am so happy! well that's all. bye everyone!

Hippity Hoppy the Easter Bunny Found His Way........

Here's Meghan's rabbit.....and I guess Seth's rabbit too. I couldn't turn Seth's picture around.  Meghan thought she was getting a girl and had already named her Kaky Purple Roller. When they picked her up, she found out SHE was actually a HE. Now his name is Eli Roller......that is until I can get her to come up with another name!

School Days

I enjoying talking to the grandkids getting their stories of what happened at school. I talk to Eli almost every day. Today he was telling me about the "Big Test" the class had to take. The teacher had decided they would think better and concentrate more with chewing gum. So, the chewing gum was passed out before the test. I wonder if the answers were printed in the labels.

Chris continues with Driver's Education. He has had his permit since before he left Vegas, but the state of Washington requires you to take drivers ed before you can get your license. Today he drove the driver's ed teacher around during lunch.

Seth got his progress report today. He got all A's and B's. Conduct..........TALKATIVE. We have another little angel that TALKS alot too, but I won't mention her name.

Wendy, is Olivia still going to Myrtle Beach to dance?  Cameron can come stay with us if he wants.

Blegen kids, where are you? Tristen, I haven't heard from you in awhile.

Christy lost all 6 of her puppies. Things are sad at her house. I think she might be planning a trip home for the summer though!

Goats

I have to let everyone know that we are now the proud owners of 2 Nigerian Dwarf goats. Both are female and I milk the white one Dottie every morning and night. The brown one is named Brownie.

Hope you like, Kurt snapped the shot's while I was out this morning. He knew ya'll would not believe I can milk a goat without pictures of proof. Kurt made me that cute goat milking stand. Anyone want goat milk?
