These 3 girls belong to my cousin LeeAnn. They go to Connick School of Irish Dance and are really

racking up on the medals. They competed this past weekend in Stone Mt Georgia. The oldest one Carolina is moving on up!

Imagine This..........

Your dad laid out on the bathroom floor, with his pillow, and a bucket to throw up in, calling out....
"Help me Judy, Help me. I am dying." This all started Thursday night about 7:00 pm. I told him to let's go to the Dr right then to get some medicine......he refused. EIGHT and a half hours later, he remained on the floor, but finally fell asleep. He kept me back and forth, back and forth all of that time! I told him the reason he was so sick was because he was so mean to people. He promised to do better. "I'm hot, I'm cold, wipe my face, take my clothes off, help me get to bed". Really, how am I going to move a 200 pound man laid out on the floor? I can grab him by the feet, and pull! He got so weak, he couldn't even hold his head up to puke in the toilet, or bucket, so he would just puke on the floor. I think he did that just so I would have to clean it up.
Friday morning I was feeling a little nauseous myself, but had to get in there, wash his clothes, and clean out all those germs......I bleached everything. By lunchtime he could stand independently, so we went to the Dr. Yep, it was a stomach virus. Something that he of course had to share with me.
I didn't eat all day Saturday or Sunday, so I just had a light case.  He laid around all weekend, but did go off to work today.
FYI: I threatened about 100 times to put him in a rest home. I even told him he was going to sign a power of attorney for medical reasons, so when he is sick, I can get medical care for him. He refused to let me call an ambulance. He's a hard headed old man!  Just to let whoever takes him in after I die
know, he is a Big Baby when he is sick, so Beware!

Late as Usual...........

Yes, as usual I am already behind. Well, normally I am on top of things, but since Thanksgiving, I am
still a bit behind. Here is what I have been meaning to share with you. Some of you have already seen it, but not Everyone!

Isn't she beautiful? DNA results have her as a 1st cousin, but she is actually my niece Lawkin. I contacted her on the DNA website, not revealing who I am. She is the daughter of my half brother. So, you didn't now I had one of those......well I do, and a half sister roaming out there. I found pictures of her and her dad on Facebook. I think it is marvelous having such beautiful relatives!

This DNA stuff is really interesting. I just found another "cousin" a couple of days ago. He's an old man now, and no where near as cute, but still is exciting nonetheless!

"Tis the Season to Be Jolly........

And my jolly is slowly diminishing!

I just found out last night that the "Special" present for Eli had been delivered to Kat's old house in Reno! I blame that on the computer "auto populating" info from my previous order! I spent 49 minutes talking to three different people at UPS only to get a return call from a supervisor and hour later and talked another 30 minutes.  They are actually are going to send out a truck to the address to see if they still have the package! IF they do, they will forward it on to Eli in Vegas. Oh, so much drama!

And then there's the fact that my living room looks like the warehouse at FedEx.  You gotta love these kids that send all these last minute gifts that pile as high as a mountain! Yes, you know who you are!

Then there are the "Santa" presents, and just the regular presents, but the main issue........What is in this box, and who is it for? ? ? ?

I took a few hours off yesterday and went shopping in Smithfield with Phyllis. You can imagine the parking, and the walking. There were a lot of good deals, too bad most of my gifts had already been shipped. I did pick up quite a few Christmas decorations for next year at 70 percent off!

I've been wrapping this morning, and will do my cooking tomorrow. Christmas Day will be a day of rest!  Perhaps some weaving is in order.

LOOK........... Here's Proof!  There are regular wrapped presents under each tree!

Time for a Change! ! !

Look what I ordered me! The living room looks pretty good with the red, white, and black Snowman Christmas tree. This year I added a red and burlap "country" tree to go along with it. My red velvet
and fur curtains are hanging, but I never got the red scatter rugs I wanted. I saw these on sale last week while shopping online!  A long runner, and two rugs all for $90.00.  My "good" rug is still rolled up behind the couch until Jack stops drooling, and rubbing his mouth in it! That's  how he would clean his face after he ate, or drank water. I had taught him to use the rug in front of the
laundry closet, but he quickly discovered the one in the living room was much softer!

Christmas shopping has been off to a slow start. I did make my way to Target yesterday to hang out for almost 2 hours.

The favored gift for this year is going to Eli. Just wait to see the "after" picture for this one.
