How do you spell S T R E S S ?

I don't normally get stressed out, but these past few weeks of watching Sherrill clean out the trailer to rent out again, talking to over 60 people wanting to rent it, finally getting a tenant in there, and now it starts all over again.

The Croom Drive man wants me to clean out the storage building there so he can rent it. Do you know how much STUFF is crammed in there? Let's see......all the furniture that was in the trailer, ALL the party stuff that was in the balloon shop, and even more! So now, what do I do with all of this stuff? The furniture I'll probably send to the Habitat Restore. What do you do with 250 mugs, hundreds of packs of paper plates, cups, napkins, streamers, toys, wedding stuff, novelty items, cake pans, party bags, gift wrap, hundreds of feet of glass shelving, slat wall. You name it, we've got it!

I guess I'll have to face it.......I AM A HOARDER ! ! ! I should have disposed of this stuff YEARS ago. Now poor Sherrill will have to figure out what to do.

Any suggestions? ? ?

Isaac

Look at this cute little man.

Dad the hamster catcher :)

If you didn't see my facebook status Seth let Rosie out AGAIN while I was cleaning her cage.  She's so tiny and runs fast.  I couldn't catch her so I called mom.  Mom was laughing so I had to tell her it wasn't funny so she would get off the phone so I could call back and get dad to come over.  At first she was on the counter.  I thought I had her trapped but she found her way out and fell off.  :(  She went running thru the kitchen then went to the dinning room (that's full of boxes).  By the time dad walked over she was trapped on the floor again.  Dad was able to reach down and grab her with no problems.   :)

Thanks dad for saving Rosie!!

Isaac's Birthday Loot!

and Chris wants to be the underwear model...I think Isaac might give him a run for his money!

My special note

Luke brought this home from school today. He's going to write back tonight.

Hi Everyone! It's been a while since we have updated this website and we want to let you all know what is going on with Mom. The medical treatment that Mom received in Panama was extremely successful. Her entire body was healed, her liver regenerated, and even her eyesight improved. Even her gray hair went away! :) She spent time resting and allowing her body to heal so that the treatment could be as effective as possible. We know that the treatment saved her life. The treatment was only supposed to last for six months. It has now been over eight months since we returned from Panama, and she has regressed. All of her old symptoms have returned. Even though she is dealing with the pain and sickness that she has had for all of these years, her body is in a better condition than it was before we went to Panama. The doctors have discovered that the reason she is sick again is that there is a virus, XMRV, in her body. We thought the anti-viral medicines that she was taking would kill the virus, but they are not strong enough. Last week, researchers discovered that XMRV is almost identical to HIV, but is more deadly. However, her doctors are working towards two possible medications to kill the XMRV virus. These medicines have already been proven to kill the HIV virus. They have had proven success in killing both HIV and XMRV with several people on different continents including Europe and America. Mom has been closely following every new development and has been working with multiple doctors to obtain this medicine. However, there are currently several road blocks that are preventing her from getting this medicine. Mom experienced life as a "well person" for several months and is now frustrated because she has regressed. She is sleeping 18-20 hours a day and is very ill when she is awake. Daily tasks such as cooking or driving are once again nearly impossible. We would like for you to join us in praying that these doctors will allow her to purchase this medicine soon so that her body will be healed completely. Thanks for your continued support. We love you all! -Miranda

Good Morning World!

Just a quick post to check in to update you on the events as I know them......

1. Seth came home (my house) with all B's on his report card. He was allowed to walk home (his house) to play video games. He has his own key now, and I guess is a latch key kid.
2. Meghan is real excited about telling time and working with numbers. She reads her numbers from right to left, instead of left to right. She is a left-handed child though.
3. We still haven't talked to Wendy since her birthday. I know she must be recuperating from her trip.
4. No word from Kelli and Blake. She's still trying to save money to come to NC for a visit.
5. Haven't heard from the Blegens. I'm not sure what sports they be doing for the spring/summer.
6. The neighbors LAUREN, CARTER, and IZZY are still staying in their yard. I might not be able to see them, but I sure can hear them!
7. Kenny called last week and talked to me. Luke called to sing me a song, and Catherine just talks. Kenny missed one field trip because he was sick. I think they are all better now.
8. Eli is Eli. We are currently under negotiations to share his Junie B Jones books.
9. And the top news of the week, Kat, Joe, Eli and Isaac have gone to upstate WA to visit friends, and left Chris HOME ALONE! ! !! Partytime at the Roller house. I suggested she put her laptop in Chris's room, connect to skype, and let me watch him all night. He did not think that was a good idea!
10. Sherrill and Mandy have been working on Kat's LaGrange house. The renter moved out.
11. Mandy has signed up for summer school and fall semester at ECU. Go Mandy.....Go Mandy.

Until next time........what is going on with the Blegens?
...........will the neighbors LAUREN, CARTER, and IZZY ever be allowed out of their yard?
..........what have Cameron and Olivia been up to......and how did Randy survive while Wendy was gone?

Bye for now, hope everyone has a really nice and peaceful day!

Happy Anniversary LeeAnn and Will

Today is LeeAnn and Will's 5th anniversary. LeeAnn is my cute little cousin, very quiet, three beautiful little girls, and has the cutest laugh! We love you LeeAnn, and really appreciate all that you do during your summer visits to moms.

i DIDN'T do it

First, let me just say I didn't do it!!

I bought McCalls for dinner last night cause I had a busy evening and I didn't want to cook.  I got enough for mom and dad also cause Thursday is my night to cook and I didn't want to cook then either.  :)   So we all eat and everything goes fine.  Apparently dad decided that he was going to eat three plates FULL and that didn't go well with his stomach.  I got a message from mom today telling me that dad was up all night sick.  Now we all ate the same thing but just dad got sick.  So everyone call and check on dad tonight and tell him that he needs to learn portion control.  :)

Have you read and Junie B Jones Books?

This is for ANYONE with children......

Seth came home the other day with a Junie B Jones book. I first learned about Junie B through
Eli. He was reading these before he started school. I think he has read the entire series of 28 books. It starts out telling the story of Junie B as a kindergartner. I think throughout the entire series she only moves up to the first grade.

This is a MUST read for a child of any age. It covers the monsters, fears, and concerns of every 5-6 year old. Even a 9 year old can laugh at her adventurers. So, the next time you are at a book store, or library, be sure to look her up!
