I'm alive!! :)

Yes everyone, I am alive. I went to OK/AR for the weekend to see some friends. I needed a break without the kidos. Seth has been doing good in school. Meghan is driving me crazy as always. We are going trick or treating Friday at Disneyland and maybe the Phoenix zoo on Sunday or Monday. I'll have Seth make a post this week. He's sooo excited about Friday night and is already counting down to his birthday. :)

Party's over

The birthday cake is gone.......the kids are gone......and the party is over. But wait, a box came in the mail today. Mandy sent me some Baklava from the Greek Festival and is MARVELOUS!
I have already eaten 2 pieces, and I think I am going to go for the third. This stuff is GREAT.

Quiet time

The house is quiet. NO more little feet pitty patting around. Just peace and quiet......with a little of NASCAR in the background. You all know how much I like that!

Christy is home on bed rest.
Mandy is at the Greek Festival for Kat.
Kat is making TUTU's , or catching up on her soaps.
James is probably off to the inlaws.

Still Partying ! ! !

It's 8:50 pm Saturday night, and we are STILL partying. Isabella is here with us now......so there are 4 little peepers. We just had birthday cake and juice cups, so everyone is happy. I must admit though, 2 nights of the Backyardigans will do an old person in! The wonder pets are on now, so at least I can sing along........

Quiet time WILL come soon! PaPa has sleep duty tonight :)

Party at Grandma's

Two three year olds PLUS one four year old EQUALS Fun....Fun....Fun......, but not alot of sleep.

Lauren, Carter,and Olivia were in for a wild night of partying. It all started out with plenty of food and drink. They ate and drank themselves silly. You all know what a combination of sprite and lemonade can do......added to that the milk cup just before bedtime. Added to that were the cookies, chips, candy and EVERYONE was in sugar overload!

We put the sleeping bags out about 8:30 to just sit back and watch TV. I had to fix the couch for myself, Sherrill said he just HAD to have a good night's rest. We watched TV, talked, laughed, told stories, and partied to we fell out. Olivia was the first to go. She passed out while playing the game "Who can be the Quietest". You all know Lauren NEVER won this game. Carter followed shorty behind her. Lauren hung in there as long as she could before she passed out too. Everyone was quiet as a mouse during the night. They had really put in a hard day of play.

Papa gets up and wakes up the whole house of course. Jack runs to the living room, and Carter will tell you, "Grandma, Jack was going to pee on my sleeping bag". Sherrill quickly rebuts that comment, saying that Jack got no where near Carter. Jack knows that he is NOT supposed to be walking to the living room in the first place. He is trained to walk straight from Sherrill's room to the kitchen!

After bacon, eggs, pancakes, and Apple Jacks for breakfast.....they are off to Walmart to get PAPA a birthday cake. Yes folks, there will be MORE partying today! But Carter insists, NO ice cream.

I guess the next post will be....Three kids and the old man. I know they will keep him on his toes at Walmart! I can hear it over the intercom now..."Will Papa please report to the toy department....with his wallet".

Hope all of you have a good day. As for me, I'm going back to my room for some quiet time until they get home!

i need sleep and a vacation!!!

Okay, the kids wore me out this weekend. I don't even remember what we did but I'm pretty sure we stayed in town.

Seth is doing good in school this week. Dan and Seth are actually going to Madison, Wisconsin this weekend for a UW football game. They both go to a badger game every year and this year for Seth's birthday, we are sending them to WI for the home game. He doesn't know that though. He was just told to be good and he would get a really big birthday gift this weekend. And yes, I talked to his teacher today and she verified that he's been really good this week.

Meghan is still Meghan. :) She's my crazy little Sherrill, what else can I say. She loves to argue and is SOOO BOSSY. She's also decided that she doesn't want to potty anymore so I'm gonna have to do the potty training thing all over. I just put her in diapers because I'm so tired I give up.

And now to me.... I'm working for Kathy Thursday thru Sunday. She's making the tutu's and I'm selling them. So my boys leave Friday night and won't return until Sunday night so that means Kathy will have to babysit Meghan while I'm at the festival!! hehehe Next weekend I'm going out of town ALONE!!! I'm going to hang out with some friends and get a mini vacation. I'm starting to turn into mom!! :) I'll check in on FB while I'm gone. Dan will be home alone with the kids which both kids are NOT happy about. Seth keeps asking to go with me and Meghan says she needs a vacation.

I think this is about it. I wish Dan didn't work in AZ because I'm SOOOOO READY TO GO BACK TO WORK!!! :(

Dr appointment and Ken's field trip

Well there is not much to say about I only had an ultrasound. They said the baby is 6 lbs and 2 Oz's, and is approx. 37 weeks old. My doctor says I am only 34 weeks but that is crazy, because Kurt was at work for 6 day, when the doctor says I conceived. Well anyways. Kenneth went on his 1st field trip of the year, He and his class went up the mountain to learn about trees, plants and wildlife. They got to meet 2 Rangers, Smokey the Bear. They got to see a waterfall and had a sack lunch. He had fun but he said that his partner was weird, and rough. That was our day and Luke has not stopped talking since this morning. Thank goodness it's bed time soon.

the story of me knee

so there is this young lady that answers (sometimes) by the name Kelli. well she was relaxing in the chair on Monday night and went to get up for a bowl of ice cream and POP..out of joint went my knee. i freaked out!!!... so i straightned it for it to pop back into place. it swelled up that night. cindy and i put ice on it and a knee brace. tuesday rolls around and i can barely walk on it. its swollen and bruised and KILLS!! so i was up hour upon hour tuesday night because the pain was just killing me. so i awake wednesday morning and bam..i cant walk on it whatsoever!!..the first thing i do is cry. so i went to the doctor at 930 and he said he was going to send me to the medical clinic next door to have x rays done at 130. so i hobble back to school once again with crutches that killing me. cant carry book, cant carry lunch tray..nothing. and needless to say, the knee i injured is my right knee. and i am right dominant so therefore it killed even more and it was hard as heck to balance on crutches with my left leg. so i went to the doctor at 130 and the x rays said i tore my meniscus in my knee.. whatever that is. they want to do an MRI on it but i know that that is going to be expensive. so i have a brace on my leg from mid calf to mid thigh that the doctor put on me.

Very well spoken Kelli. But....why haven't you told us about YOUR day yesterday? What did you do to that knee of yours? Did Cindy REALLY beat you? Do we need to take up a collection for a wheelchair?

And....Christy went to the doctor yesterday for another ultrasound.......what's the results Christy?

And Kat is working hard making tutu's. Mandy is taking them to the Greek Festival this weekend in Vegas....YOu haven't told the family about that KAT ! !

And Meghan is still being a little hellion according to unpublished reports.

And Olivia is coming to spend the weekend with us this weekend.

And Abby is still making little dresses.

And James and Sherrill pulled an all-nighter.

And I am still helping out with Uncle Rudy.

So, What's going on in the rest of the world?

just kidding family!! you know i love ya guys...lol..but wowwie..we have not posted much on here lately..and i thought that me being the teenager would just check this sucker once then ignore it. well i actually obeyed grandmas rules and are checking it everyday!! but come to find out...we are not posting jack squat up here. lol.. the kids can not be behaving that well. come on aunts, dont be so innocent. grandma will find out eventually!!!!

No phone today...or tomorrow

Hey kids,

The BEST thing has happened. The phone line has been cut at the end of the road. So, if anyone calls, the phone just rings and rings. I'm real tired, and wanted to sleep in tomorrow, so now I can! Yeaahh! ! ! !

I talked to Chris a little while ago about his Birthday Escapade to Hooters. You would have thought the boy was celebrating his 21st birthday not his 15th. Eli was in on the fun too, but I will let Mandy tell that story!

Does YOUR child know all their cousins?

Lauren and Carter are here, and they were watching the video Kat just posted. They keep making me go back though to the montage Mandy put together of all the grandkids. They enjoy going through and naming everyone. They keep getting hung up on Tristen though. Can each of your children name everyone else?

Yesterday the kids went with me shopping for Olivia. Carter actually picked out her present. Last night their parents called, and Lauren told her mom she was going to "Party all night." She was celebrating Olivia's birthday, but wondered why Olivia never made it to the party!
